![]() The only real issue I had last night is holding it at limit, 8106rpm, bouncing off the limiter a couple times causes the belt to pop off. Of course while getting it to idle correctly I also tuned the excel and boost settings to make sure it's got plenty of fuel unloaded this way I can go for a drive later and make some fine adjustments. Now I got to see how it's going to idle cold. I finally found the right balance and it idles perfect hot. If you add too much fuel it will idle too low and start to miss and trigger a CEL for a rich condition. With that said, after 45min of tuning I was finally ably to get the car to idle HOT at 900rpm It took a while to get the right balance since if you pull to much fuel it leans out and idle's to high and triggers a CEL because of the lean condition. Basically your still using the main injectors to control fuel but pulling a little bit of fuel from them since you are adding a little bit of fuel upstream from the auxiliary injectors. So the trick is to pull fuel from the main injectors and add a little from the auxiliary injectors so they kind of balance each other out a little bit. The emanage drives the auxiliary injectors at minimal pulse width even though you have the settings set at zero, it's still going to drive them a little bit. It worked But after playing around a little bit trying to get it to idle normal Vs 1500-2krpm it hit me. Last night I decided to install 2 8ohm 20watt resistors in line of each injector to make them high impedance Vs low. ![]()
